New Vision was founded in 2006 by four professionals in the field of education and it continues to provide unique and effective educational products and services to Chinese students who dream of studying abroad. In the spring of 2005, all four of New Vision’s founders and managing partners had the opportunity to work and teach together at Beijing Huijia Private School, one of China’s premier private educational institutions at the primary and secondary level. During that semester, they were able to gain valuable experience and insight into China’s private educational system, specifically at the middle and high school levels. Along with being able to observe firsthand the academic prowess and strengths of Chinese students at these levels, the New Vision founders were able to identify areas in which the Chinese student differs from the American student in terms of learning style and study habits. Outside of work, the four men forged an emotional and intellectual bond that still influences the work they do today.

During the 2005-2006 school year, one of the founders remained in Beijing while the others went on to further their educations and careers at prestigious universities in Canada and the United States. The group maintained close contact throughout the year, often discussing the possibilities of returning and reuniting in China. Their ideas were centered on the field of secondary education and the changing needs that came along with China’s economic development and its increasingly prominent role in the global economy. Finally, in the early spring of 2006, the idea of adapting an American test preparation program to the needs of Chinese students so that those students would have the same opportunities to study and succeed in some of the World’s most renowned universities came about and New Vision was born.

Today, New Vision provides educational services to the many ambitious students in China’s school system who desire to study abroad. Its founders bring a wealth of knowledge of education and experience in China to the company and would like to introduce you to a new kind of learning.
